Breakfast and Dining
Breakfast at Eden Vale Inn highlights the bounty of local produce and products. We tend to favor savory and not too sweet dishes simply prepared with the freshest ingredients.
Each morning, a seasonally changing full breakfast, is served in our breakfast area. The menu at our bed and breakfast in Northern California includes fresh fruit from Apple Hill, vegetables, meats and eggs from local El Dorado County farms and our own garden and chickens. All of our dishes are made from scratch and our baked goods are cooked fresh each morning. Additionally, we endeavor to accommodate the dietary requirements (gluten free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, etc.) and the scheduling needs of our guests.
You can enjoy your meal at your private table in the dining area or in good weather on one of our outdoor decks. Specials of the house are many, but include tender, hot out of the oven scones and baked goods, fresh squeezed orange juice, mixed fruit bowls, flaky quiches, and crisp waffles. A rich and rewarding cup of fresh gourmet coffee helps start your day right (the secret to our amazing coffee is the Sierra water…).
Breakfast is made fresh every day and served between 9 and 9:45 A.M. but, we will do our best to accommodate earlier times with advance notice. Coffee and tea trays are placed on all floors of the inn by 7:30 A.M. Coffee, espresso, tea, hot chocolate, and snack bars are available throughout the day.
A covered guest kitchen is also available to prepare your meal on site. Fully stocked with dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchenware. It has a 4-burner electric stove-top, microwave, a small Oster counter-top oven, sink, and dishwasher. We also have a gas barbecue grill available year-round.
